After 3 activations, the airbag must be replaced by authorized personnel.

The advantage of carrying a spare D-air® Road Shield gas generator is that it allows the airbag to be easily reactivated if a fall occurs during the trip, so that the rider can get back on the road without having to go to an authorized dealer to replace the spare part.

The D-air® Road Shield Generator contains ergon gas, helium, and pyrotechnic charge, and can be transported by air upon notification to the airline.
