The SMX-1 R V2 are made of advanced microfiber and feature strategically placed TPU reinforcements and protectors. They offer a high degree of comfort and freedom of movement both on and off the bike.

• Renewed heel area support system that works in conjunction with a Velcro closure to offer superior fit and support as well as structural integrity.
• Newly designed front flap made of aramid fiber with hook-and-loop closure with TPR puller. This system facilitates foot entry and exit.
• Rear heel redesigned with soft TPR inserts that work as well as the rear flex zone to allow greater freedom of heel movement and comfort.
• Anatomical Velcro strap closure for a perfect fit with the natural shape of the foot.
• New flexible ventilation panel in the rear area to offer great levels of ventilation.
• Newly designed TPU shifter protector for added protection and durability.
• Ergonomic shape improves aerodynamics and offers fit and comfort regardless of foot shape.
• Outsole is made with Alpinestars exclusive rubber compound that offers high levels of grip, feel and durability. The engraved design of the sole favors the evacuation of water.
• TPF (Transversal Protection Frame) technology outsole: protects against possible transverse loads.
• The flexible accordion panels on the instep and Achilles heel provide enormous freedom of movement. These are made of lightweight microfiber.
• Dual density inner ankle protectors located under the upper layer for increased shock absorption capacity.
• The outer toe box slider offers a curved design to perfectly fit the profile of the boot and is easily interchangeable. The slider is made of bi-injected TPU.
• Outer heel area made of TPU for maximum protection against impacts.
• Reinforced internal toe cap under the primary layer for greater protection, feel and durability.
• Inner lining in perforated mesh fabric for breathability.
